The Silliest Weight Loss Products

January 28th, 2012

There are a wide variety of weight-loss solutions out there these days. Some of those products and solutions really are supposed to help people lose weight. There are plenty of other products, in contrast, that seem to be thought up for no other purpose than making a bunch of money off of people who are feeling desperate. Some items are so outrageous that we thought we would discuss them here in this article so that you know not to fall for the promises they make.

Have you happened across the weight loss ring yet? This is really a band of silver that has been coiled around several times and is meant to be worn on your index finger. The band should put a nice amount of pressure on the pressure points that people think are supposed to help you lose weight. Science has verified that there are a few pressure points on the body that, when pressed honestly do help you to feel better. Seabands, to apply one example, are made to trigger specific pressure points to help you control motion sickness. The idea that a little ring has the ability to help you lose weight (actively is the key here, as decoration it probably works okay) is just dumb. website

Have you seen the neck line slimmer yet? This is really a product that, apparently, speculated to help firm the muscles in your neck to help counterbalance any loose or hanging skin. It does this, apparently via vibration. Any health care provider worth his co-pay will tell you that if you have a bunch of extra skin hanging off of your face or your neck, the skin has already been stretched out and is unlikely, even if your neck muscles strengthen, to shrink back up into the firm skin of your youth. If you’re anxious about the skin on your neck, see your physician. medicine doctors billing software

Do you know what exactly the Belly Burner Weight Loss Belt is? This is a warmed belt that is meant to help you literally melt the pounds away by doing nothing else beyond wearing the belt. From what we have seen, the belt is made to “heat the core” which, seemingly, will make your weight fall off because of…what? We cant really tell. It’s true that sweating eats away at calories but there is no way to guarantee that those calories will only be burned away from the part of your body covered by the belt. Talking to your health care provider will be adequate to confirm that this product is not meant to do anything at all besides get your hard earned money.

The actual truth is the fact that there are all sorts of people who only want to get their hands on your money. They know that you are hypersensitive with regards to your weight and that you are desperate to lose it so they play into that insecurity and desperation. A lot of individuals need to lose weight but are afraid of just how much work it is going to take to get there. More folks would probably benefit from the process if it were effortless. It can often be very hard to lose excess weight. There is absolutely no miracle pill, clothing item or accessory that does the job for you.
